Stag Beetle Scarab Pendant Necklace in Bronze

from 135.00

Stag beetles are named for their large mandibles, resembling the antlers of a stag. This one is most likely a "Lesser Stag Beetle", because its size is a bit smaller than most species.

This piece is cast in bronze using an actual stag beetle I found in eastern Tennessee to make the mold (It had died of natural causes).  The pendant hangs from a sterling silver rolo chain with handmade s hook clasp.

The pendant pictured is not the exact pendant you will receive as each piece is handmade to order in my Crabtree, NC studio. Slight variances can occur due to the handmade nature of the work.  US orders please allow 2-3 weeks for fabrication and delivery.
